Geoje Gohyeon Intercity Bus Terminal -> local bus 41 (Gohyeon-Ogdong) -> get off at Geoje Yacht Marina

This is where sailboats and dinghy yachts first took root in Geoje. It is managed on consignment by the Geoje Windsurfing (Yacht) Association, and incentives such as reduced user charges can help broaden the base for marine sports. Tongyeong IC is close by, and the site sits near the entry point to Geoje, giving it good accessibility.
Geoje Island has a mild maritime climate. Even during the winter northwesterly monsoon season, the influence of the Tsushima Warm Current keeps temperatures warm, with very few days below freezing. Summers are relatively cool thanks to southeasterly monsoon winds and land-sea breezes. However, winds tend to be strong and humidity is high, so rain is frequent; about 40% of annual rainfall is concentrated from June to August. The northwestern part of Geoje Island has heavy fog in spring.
North of Sadu Island, the flood current flows south at 0.kn, and the ebb current flows northeast at 0.3 kn. Currents are relatively weak due to the complex coastline.
