Access

位於水山港內，具備俱樂部會所與可停泊約60艘遊艇的設施。透過與遊艇學校合作營運海洋休閒運動體驗課程，2013年約有13萬名遊客參與，免費遊艇學校每年也有6,000人結業，是東海岸最大規模的遊艇港設施。未來計畫將繫泊設施擴充至100艘規模，增設遊艇維修設施與便利設施，並開發多樣的遊艇旅遊商品。

嶺東北部地區位於江原道東北側，南北走向的太白山脈中，包含主峰雪嶽山大青峰（1,708m）與香爐峰（1,293m）等海拔800~1,700m的大小山峰。以高山稜線為中心的山地具有山岳氣候特性，而雪嶽山陡坡與海相接，形成狹長單調的地形，因此也呈現許多接近海洋性氣候的氣象特徵。春季來自南部地區移動性高氣壓的西南風越過太白山脈時，因山岳效應產生的強風現象「襄杆之風」，以及西南氣流流入時因高山造成的焚風現象、東北氣流造成的降水與低溫現象，都是代表性例子。

水山港的平均海水面為0.2m，大潮升為0.3m，平均高潮間隔為2小時57分。
