東海地域の海洋レジャーおよびヨット活性化のため、2010年に完成したヨットマリーナ施設で、国内初の海洋民間投資事業として造成されたマリーナ施設です。清潔な環境と食べ物、見どころがあり、多くの観光客が訪れます。ヨットに乗る機会もあるため、休暇シーズンのよい思い出作りに適した場所です。特に地上6階規模のクラブハウスでは港内と安木海辺の眺望を楽しめ、カフェなどの便益施設も備えており、多くの観光客を江陵港へ呼び込む大きな役割を果たしています。

江陵地域は東海に接する海岸地域と太白山脈に接する山間地域の中間にあり、多様で複雑な気候を示します。そのため、行政区域上は江陵市に属していても、山間部や海岸に近い地域では気候値に差が出る場合があります。年間平均気温は13.1℃で、年間平均最高気温と最低気温はそれぞれ17.5℃、9.2℃です。同じ緯度の西海岸より温暖で、夏は太白山脈の西側より涼しくなります。年間平均降水量は1,464.5mmで、月別では7〜9月の夏季に降水が集中し、12〜2月の冬季は月平均40〜60mm前後と夏季に比べ大きな差があります。特に8月は平均298.9mmと高い降水量を示します。江陵の年間平均風速は2.6m/sで、冬季と春季に強風現象が多く、季節に関係なく北東（NE）気流が流入すると天候が悪化し、降水現象を伴う特徴があります。
